The weekday food judging session for The Signature Food Fest 5th Edition officially commenced with an exclusive gastronomic experience at Chill Taverna, attended by distinguished judges Datuk Gordon Leong, Rory Richardson, Mr Jimmy, alongside invited media partners.
Nestled in the heart of Kota Kinabalu within the iconic Wisma Sabah, Chill Taverna stands as perhaps the only restaurant in Kota Kinabalu, and possibly Sabah, dedicated to authentic Greek cuisine. The venue offers a refreshing Mediterranean escape where rustic elegance meets comforting culinary heritage.
The judging session presented an opportunity for guests to indulge not only in the restaurant’s signature dishes, but also a curated selection of complimentary side offerings beloved by its loyal regular patrons. From appetizer starters to richly layered signature mains, every presentation reflected a thoughtful balance of flavor, texture, and authenticity.
Joining the dining experience were General Manager Mr Khairul and Head Chef Lourdes, who personally guided the judges through the menu presentations while sharing the inspiration and craftsmanship behind each creation.
