The KK Jazz Festival Talent Search 2026 invites aspiring musicians, vocalists, solo performers and bands to step into the spotlight for a chance to perform LIVE on the main stage of the Kota Kinabalu Jazz Festival.

This exciting talent search will take place at Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu on 5 April 2026, from 4PM to 8PM, bringing together rising talents ready to showcase their musical passion and artistry.

Whether you're a young jazz enthusiast or an experienced performer ready to command the stage, this platform offers the opportunity to be discovered and celebrated within Sabah’s vibrant music community.

Winners will earn the opportunity to perform live on the KK Jazz Festival Main Stage, sharing their music with a wider audience and becoming part of Sabah’s growing jazz legacy.

For this latest production, the team travelled to Sandakan , bringing along the largest crew assembled so far. The entire music video was filmed on location, capturing the town’s character, colours, and atmosphere, giving the production a sense of place that feels vivid and authentic on screen.
