Sabah Fest 2026: Experience Sabah with Ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre
Kuala Lumpur welcomed a vibrant taste of Sabah as Sabah Fest 2026 brought the colours, flavours, culture and traditions of North Borneo to Kampung Kitchen, ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
The evening was honoured by the presence of The Honourable Datuk Jafry Bin Hj. Ariffin, Minister of Tourism, Culture & Environment, Sabah, who attended as the Guest of Honour for the special celebration.
The event showcased the very best of Sabah, from its rich cultural heritage and distinctive cuisine to traditional music, handicrafts and diverse tourism experiences that continue to define Sabah as one of Malaysia’s most captivating destinations.
Guests were treated to an array of Sabah-inspired flavours and culinary delights, captivating cultural performances, artisan crafts and engaging activities, offering an immersive glimpse into the heritage, traditions and vibrant spirit of Sabah.
As Sabah builds momentum towards Visit Sabah 2027, initiatives such as Sabah Fest play an important role in bringing Sabah closer to new audiences, creating meaningful connections and inspiring more people to discover, experience and appreciate the beauty and diversity of the state.
The Honourable Datuk Jafry Bin Hj. Ariffin also expressed his appreciation to ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre and all strategic partners for their warm hospitality, collaboration and continued support in promoting Sabah beyond Borneo.
