2nd Week - No Elimination Yet! Petrova Claims the Throne with 73.18% | Joy 64.36% | Dabra 63.59%

The second week of Borneo Rising (BR) saw Petrova dominate the stage after securing the top spot with an impressive overall score of 73.18% from the permanent panel of judges.

Performing “Tak Adil,” originally sung by Aisha Retno, Petrova earned 73.18% from the judges. She also took home RM1,000 after being selected as the winner of the “Persembahan Paling Power” segment, sponsored by CelcomDigi, during the final segment of the show.

Meanwhile, Joy and Dabra secured second and third place respectively, scoring 64.36% and 63.59%.

This week’s Trend x Ethnic theme also saw Michelle, Jecinta and Aadel occupying the bottom positions after receiving the lowest overall scores.

However, the judges decided to save Michelle at the last minute, while Jecinta and Aadel will have to fight for their places on Borneo Rising in Week 3 through a battle round in the opening segment.

Borneo Rising Week 2 Scores

The Borneo Rising contestants are judged by three permanent judges: Noh Salleh, Marsha Milan and Shila Amzah.

The competition’s final results will be determined through a combination of 80% professional judges’ scores and 20% audience voting.

Hosted by Zizan Razak and Sherry Al-Hadad, Borneo Rising runs for eight weeks from 6 September 2026 to 25 October 2026, broadcasting live from ITCC Mall, Penampang, Sabah, every Sunday at 9PM.

The programme airs on Astro Ria (Channel 104) and TV Okey (Channel 146), and is also available on demand via Astro GO, Sooka and RTMKlik.

Azeva Thanks Fans for Their Support

Meanwhile, host and singer Azeva expressed her gratitude and appreciation to everyone who supported her during her appearance as a host on Borneo Rising.

In a post on Threads, Azeva apologised for any shortcomings while hosting the programme alongside fellow presenter Zizan Razak.

“Alhamdulillah for tonight. Thank you to everyone who came and supported Azeva tonight. I’m sorry if there were any shortcomings.

“Actually, there were many things we wanted to do on stage, but time was quite limited,” she said.

Azeva also said she remains open to receiving advice and constructive feedback from viewers to improve her performance in the future.

She expressed her appreciation to everyone who continues to place their trust in her and be part of her career journey through Borneo Rising.

“Azeva will read all your advice and feedback, and I truly appreciate it. Insya-Allah, Azeva will try again, improve further and give you an even better performance.

“Thank you for still believing in me and for being part of this journey,” she said.

For the record, Azeva is currently taking on hosting duties for Borneo Rising, replacing Sherry Al-Hadad, who is currently busy with the stage production Mansur & Liu.
