KING & QUEEN OF THE PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL EXCHANGE WEEK 26 May – 31 May

Culture is the timeless language that transcends borders, connecting hearts, communities, and generations through shared experiences and understanding.

As part of the King & Queen of the Pacific International Cultural Exchange Week, delegates were privileged to embark on an enriching journey through Sabah’s living heritage with a visit to the Traditional Houses and the Koisaan Museum & Library. The experience offered a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in the stories, traditions, artistry, and cultural treasures that define the unique identity of Sabah.

More than a cultural visit, it was an inspiring exchange of knowledge and appreciation, fostering deeper respect for the diverse heritage that continues to shape the spirit of our communities today. Every exhibit, artifact, and narrative reflected the enduring legacy of Sabah’s people and the importance of preserving these invaluable traditions for future generations.

A special note of appreciation is extended to Duchess Joanna Kitingan for her gracious hospitality and for curating such a meaningful cultural experience. Her unwavering commitment to safeguarding and promoting Sabah’s rich cultural heritage serves as an inspiration, reminding us of the enduring value of history, identity, and community in an increasingly interconnected world.
