Designed exclusively for two, this dining experience celebrates the warmth of Italian hospitality and the timeless ritual of gathering around the table. Every course has been carefully selected to deliver a harmonious balance of flavour, craftsmanship and romance, creating an evening that feels as though it has been transported from the charming trattorias of Italy to the heart of Kota Kinabalu.




A Curated Journey for Two

Priced at RM138 for two persons, the experience begins with a choice of one handcrafted pizza, allowing diners to select from:

  • Diavola
  • Pollo
  • Margherita

The journey continues with a choice of one signature pasta, featuring:

  • Pappardelle Beef Ragù
  • Lamb Ragù
  • Tagliatelle Kombu Butter Prawn

To elevate the occasion, the set includes two glasses of house wine, available in either red or white, perfectly paired to complement the meal. Guests may also opt to enhance the evening with a bottle of house wine for an additional RM105, accompanied by a complimentary DAMO Sparkling Drink.

No Italian dining experience is complete without dessert. The evening concludes on a sweet note with DAMO's Signature House-made Tiramisu with Rum, a decadent finale that embodies the rich traditions of Italian pastry craftsmanship.

It was a very fulfilling and insightful trip to Keningau recently, where the Angin family from Kg. Biah, Sook celebrated an important engagement ceremony. A family member was engaged to someone from outside the Murut community. Shonney Doney, who is of Murut and Dusun heritage, became engaged to a Sino-Kadazan young man from outside the Keningau district. What was truly special is that the Angin family prepared a cultural presentation featuring Siopon, a traditional homemade rice drink kept in jars. The beverage has been passed down for generations and is still practiced today. According to Liza Angin, Shonney’s aunt, the family has been making Siopon for many years, starting with their mother, Villine Lius, who is now 74 years old.
