Before the main stage ignites, the spotlight turns to tomorrow’s luminaries at the KK Jazz Talent Search Programme, held at the stylish Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu.

From 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the U18 Category sets the tone with compelling performances by Rolou Pomogunan, X.E.E Trio, and SOFA Subuh Band (SSB)—each act echoing raw passion and youthful brilliance.
The stage then transitions into the Open Category (5:00 PM – 6:30 PM), where a dynamic lineup—Dynamics, B2P Band, The Last Nite Syndicate, Lexicon Band, and SIA Borneo—delivers performances rich in character, artistry, and bold musical identity.
As the final note lingers, the Prize Ceremony (6:30 PM – 7:00 PM) honours not just winners, but a new generation of voices destined to shape Sabah’s evolving jazz narrative.
