A vibrant sea of red lanterns, golden tassels, and festive drumbeats set the stage at the prestigious Chinese New Year State Level Open House 2026, hosted by the Sabah State Government at the magnificent Sabah International Convention Centre.

With 15 hotels participating, the celebration was nothing short of spectacular. Each stall became a miniature kingdom of prosperity and artistry, serving delightful bites to the public while performances lit up the hall with rhythm and color.

Amid the excitement, one highlight shimmered brighter than the rest: the Best Stall Decoration competition. Judged by public votes, the contest transformed the venue into a runway of creativity and festive imagination.

For the second consecutive year, the crown of Best Stall Decoration Champion proudly returns to Horizon Hotel Kota Kinabalu.

This remarkable back to back victory reflects not only artistic brilliance but the strength of teamwork and dedication behind the scenes.
