SABAH INTERNATIONAL EXPO 2026 Where Sabah Meets the World - SICC
There are places that welcome the world, and there are places that connect it. In September 2026, Kota Kinabalu becomes the latter as Sabah International Expo 2026 (SIE2026) returns to the Sabah International Convention Centre, reaffirming its position as Sabah’s premier biennial trade fair and one of East Malaysia’s most significant business platforms.
Since its inaugural edition in 2000, SIE has evolved into a signature gathering for commerce, investment and international collaboration. Jointly organized by the Sabah State Government, the Federation of Sabah Industries and the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sabah, the 11th edition carries a particularly compelling proposition: Sabah as a gateway to global opportunities.
From 4 to 6 September 2026, the Sabah International Convention Centre will become a meeting ground for businesses, investors, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and international delegates. More than an exhibition, SIE2026 offers a sophisticated platform where ideas become partnerships, businesses discover new markets and regional connections gain global relevance.
Its significance extends beyond Sabah. As part of the BIMP-EAGA framework, connecting Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines, Sabah occupies a strategic position within a region representing approximately 81.7 million people. This geographical advantage gives SIE2026 a broader purpose: strengthening economic relationships across borders while opening doors to new possibilities in trade, investment and enterprise.
The programmed begins on 2 September with the 3rd BIMP-EAGA Trade, Investment & Halal Conference, followed by the Sabah International Business Luncheon Talk on 3 September. From 4 to 6 September, the spotlight turns fully to the 11th Sabah International Expo, bringing together the region’s commercial ambitions under one roof.
For FAVSTYLE, SIE2026 represents more than business on display. It is a portrait of a Sabah that is increasingly confident in its place within the international landscape, where natural advantages meet entrepreneurial ambition, regional heritage meets modern enterprise, and local excellence is given a stage on which to travel further.
Sabah International Expo 2026 is where opportunity acquires a destination. And this September, that destination is Kota Kinabalu.
