This 14 February 2026, the heart of Kota Kinabalu glows brighter than ever as Lampoopalooza 2026 takes over Sabah Tourism Board Building, Gaya Street from 5.00pm to 11.00pm.

Expect an immersive evening of glowing upcycled art installations, stunning projection mapping, and a FREE open-air concert featuring Sabah artists. Add in irresistible street food and festive vibes, and you have a Valentine’s night designed to delight the senses.

For generations, the Tamu has been more than just a marketplace. It is a meeting ground where stories are exchanged, traditions are preserved, and the spirit of the community continues to thrive. At the moment, vendors are temporarily operating in the open space between shop lots while the new permanent Tamu building is under construction.
